The 40V Max XGT Brushless 185mm Metal Cutting Saw (CS002G) with Electric Brake and Chip Collector is a cordless solution for cutting common metal materials. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to two times faster cutting performance and up to 160 cuts per charge in 64 x 64 x 6mm thick steel angle using a 40V max XGT 4.0Ah battery (battery sold separately). It is engineered with Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT), a system that electronically turns off the motor if the rotation of the blade is suddenly forced to a stop. It has a large 67mm cutting capacity that can handle various metal materials including pipe, stud, channel, strut, conduit, angle, square tubing, sheet metal, and more.
